Scripture Memory is designed to protect your privacy. We do not collect personal data, and the anonymous usage statistics we gather can't be linked to you.
The app has no accounts, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. It collects no personal information.
To help improve the app, it sends anonymous usage signals to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These describe how the app is used, such as which screens you open and whether a review was finished. They never include your verses, search terms, or personal details. Your device's identifier is hashed before anything is sent, so the signals can't be linked to you, and they are never used for tracking or advertising.
You can turn this off at any time in the app, under Settings > Share Anonymous Usage.
The app may check our server for corrections to verse text and download them. These requests contain no personal data.
Your memorization progress, settings, and reminders are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data syncs across your devices through your personal Apple iCloud account. We have no access to it. iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us or anyone else.
Deleting the app removes its on-device data. iCloud-synced data can be managed or removed from Settings > [your name] > iCloud on your device.
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
